Hi. I have been working for a few years now and decided to complete my schooling career/matric. My last time in school was 2004 in grade 8. I have signed up for Brainline 'Matric for Adults'(10+11 in one year and 12 in the next) course in order to eventually complete matric. All material is online including lessons and textbooks. The problem is now I am finding this course so hard that I am having second thoughts about this. Does anyone have any experience with Brainline or can advise me? I am currently 24 years of age. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. Thanks for the motivation.
I have tried my utmost in order to understand the work.
Three subjects are the most difficult for me. Mathematics, accounting and physical science.
I am writing tests in a weeks time. I haven't done any of this years work as I have been catching up on the past years work.
I will not be able to complete this course at the moment.
Please advise me if studying in my preferred field or attending a college and completing my matric would be a better option for me at this age.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

i think it would be better to do it at a college or educational facility rather than online... its really good that you want to complete your Matric so kudos for that... but it will take alot of of effort because you have been out of school for a while so having a physical teacher/lecturer will help tremendously in your understanding

Get you an Tutor when you are available to assist with those subjects you struggling in. It might not be that difficult for you but perhaps you just need someone to go through it with you for you to better understand it. And let the Tutor explain it to you thoroughly.

Check in newspaper or online for Tutors. Some university students and Teachers tutor after hours for extra cash

Can't you skip your matric and do some degree in your working field, I'm sure you get an exemption after some years.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. The matric age exemption is now at 45+ years.
I have decided to forget about the school and do some administration and computer courses through colleges.
I am busy applying for an Rpl for a diploma in office administration through Boston College. I am also busy enquiring about a few Comptia courses with them. How is Boston College? I believe they are better than these fly-by-night guys who charge exorbitant fees and are incapable of providing you with knowledge that will benefit you when working?
Anyone who has completed any courses with them? Any info? Thanks
