Help before i have a stroke

So I am visiting my cousin and he lives in Hout Bay and has a rain sim in his LTE phone .So I purchase a rain sim while visiting him it gets activated but does not have service .Emergency services only . So I contact rain and tell them the following:

1. My cousin has rain coverage why dont I ?
2. After checking my APN settings I get the following answer

"there is NO rain coverage in hout bay check your coverage map sorry we cannot help you"

I EXPLAIN BUT I AM USING MY COUSINS RAIN TO LIVE CHAT TO YOU AND WE ARE IN HOUT BAY

Reply : 'WE DO NOT HAVE COVERAGE IN HOUT BAY SORRY"

Tried in 3 different phones and a router.Other sim connects immediately

Yeah but I took my cuz sim out of his phone and popped mine in nothing then his and it worked

Log onto your portal and see if your spend limit is not perhaps set to R0.

I know your pain, but from the reverse issue. I can't get Cell C fixed LTE from Cell C or other providers as my house is in a dead spot according to their map. The rest of my street is covered but not me. Since you can't buy prepaid fixed LTE, I can't test it and no one will sell to me.

I would drive with that SIM in question to an area that has rain coverage and see if it works.
If it doesnt work then atleast you can call them to fix it. However if it does work, I will pay you a visit at the hospital .

Well the emergency services are working. I don't see what the problem is.
