Help build an all in one pc

I want to replace my XBONe, current laptoo and Android box with a PC.

XBONe currently used for very infrequent gaming such as FIFA a few times a month. Used for Plex

Laptop used a torrent machine and Plex server

Android box recent addition used for Kodi.

All hooked up to a 60 plasma

I want a machine where I can game if need be will run 24 7 and function as a server and will have Kodi. I'm concerned about idle power and want something efficient. Graphics wise I don't need the latest and greatest. Should be better than XBONe quality.

I do have a wireless keyboard mouse combo to control the PC.

I am moving away from downloading and more towards streaming.

What do you recommend?

Budget 6 to 7 k depending on how much I get for xbone

If the plasma is 720p, could get away with a really budget graphics card.

Instead of the skylake pentium build go with kabylake pentium (g4560 upwards) as they now also have hyperthreading like the i3 and not that far behind the i3 performance wise.

Cool. Plasma is 1080.

Playing FPS you really want high frame rates, GTA V will run on newer i3 cpus but it really like a proper 4 core i5 & semi decent gpu.

I'll scratch around later on wootware, rebeltech & carb to see what's available but it's gonna be hard I reckon.

I can push the budget a bit as IP use the system for a while. Primarily it will be used for media.

That comes to R8300

That said I'm not happy with the CPU, it's a Kaby Lake Pentium G4560 wit 2 cores/4 threads and it's gonna bottleneck the gpu at times & windows 10 support only. It's performance is close to the i3 6100.

Will keep an eye out on carb.
