Help buying new TV

This Hisense:

I think it is a good balance for the price. It's a more premium Hisense model, compared to the entry level Hisense 55 inch TVs which goes for around R8k.

Otherwise, if you want to spend up for a premium Samsung, you can go for this:

This TV went for R15k on Takealot the other day, sure you will be able to grab it for around that price if you shop around or wait a bit.
That, there is also a 65 inch M5030 you'll spot around the 15k mark as well.

Anyone know what I can get for 3k?
Doesn't matter if it is 2nd hand.

I can't understand how people can watch these simulated refresh rates, it always looks jittery to my eyes
You like the traditional 30fps and lower? **** that I prefer up to 144hz. Hell a lot of shows especially animations looks a lot better when it is not jailed to ' cinematic 24 fps '. I use smooth video project a lot for this...

Simulated refresh rates have weird artifacting that I find really distracting. Native high frame rate content I have no problem with.
