Ok, here is the problem...

We are currently 11 people on a audit, we are using a program in the audit which requires one of the 11 people to be "the master" and the other 10 people save and edit the working papers on "the master" computer...

Now the problem we have is...

Windows only allows 10 connection to 1 computer, so 1 person can't connect to the program and can't work, could this be changed?

Any setting in Windows we can change to allow more user to connect to one person?

We are all using XP Pro.

We are all on a local switch LAN connection, no internet available.

Help please :(

Which collaboration software are you using?

I was not aware of the ten connection limit in XP pro. Where did you hear about that?

Are you sure that is an OS limitation or is it part of the limitations of the Collaborative software?

We are using a program called teammate.

When 10 people are connected and another tries to connect, windows gives a message saying "No more connections available"

Looks like you are limited to 10 sessions on 1 PC...

If this is true, could there be anyway to bypass this?

10 NTFS share connections are the limit in a workgroup enviroment last I read up, you need to move to a DC enviroment or add sharepoint 2/3 which has no connection limits as well. Doubt any of these is your solution.
