Hey Cape Town Cybersmart clients,

Two weeks ago we made major changes and upgraded our Home uncapped and Business uncapped products. Let us know of your experience. Your comments help us help you.

Sorry I'm not in Cape Town, but what exactly were the upgrades just for interest sake? i.e. improve speed, latency etc.

When will the upgrades be coming to Durban? Thanks.

+1 When will we see improvement in Pretoria region?
 
The upgrades were on the Cape Town ISP to improve speed and latency. You should be expecting changes for the rest of the country by the end of the year, or even sooner.:)

We currently do not support NNTP.
 
Not sure if the upgrades affected the capped products, but for the last 3 weeks I have had terrible speeds. 2mbit line runs at about 0.5mbit pretty much all the time.

Any suggestions?
 
Cybersmart Joburg and Durban Upgrades

We’ve kept our ear to the ground and the success that came with Cybersmarts Cape Town network upgrades have paid off.

Yesterday we began the rollout of Joburg and Durbans long awaited network upgrades!

From the 20th November 2012 and up to the 7th December 2012, clients in the upgrade regions may experience intermittent speed issues.

Cybersmart will be rolling out consecutive upgrades and implementing new infrastructure. These upgrades are scheduled to be concluded on the 7th December and the results will speak for themselves…
Dedicated IPC for regions outside of Cape Town will have our client’s experience superior service levels across the board.
Whether you’re a gamer, downloader or delve in a little bit of everything, these upgrades will be making your Cybersmart experience a delightful one.

For the first 2 weeks after the upgrade in Cape Town the speed was great!
But the last few days it is really slow. Just to browse is a pain.
Don't know if it is just congestion at my exchange or if there is a problem somewhere.
After a router re-boot things are better for a while, but then it starts to slowly deteriorate.
This usually happens during the day and at late night it flies again.
Any idea if it is just me, or of it is a trend picked up by more people?
 
We have tried contacting you but there was no answer. We have made some changes to your account and your speed should be back to normal.
 
Billing error

I have a billing error, I am being charge 375 for your 1mb uncapped package which is being advertised for R295, please get your accounts department to refund me the difference which I have been overcharged
