Sooo... I have recently come across many people telling me how great the ZOTAC GeForce 8800 GT 512MB AMP Edition is. At first impresison I was like "ZOTAC? wtf is that?" but it turns out this is possibly the best 8800GT on the market at the moment. My problem is that it not sold in South Africa - and I want one =)

So anyone know anything about getting one of these beauties in Cape Town?

Newegg? Zotac is quite good overseas from what I heard, it's the Nvidia Brand from Palit, and the ATI brand is Sapphire.

Get any make dude, all running the same chip The XFX AD edition is quite good as well. You rather buy local anyway for warantee purposes

if you want to import you need to get yourself a US mailbox

order from newegg who will ship to your box, your box supplier will then ship to your address

thanks for the replies guys - I guess I will rather just get one locally - would be quite ****e to have one break after importing it from the states =p

yup you will then spend that money saved on courier fees and be stuck without a vga card for months lol

save a couple hundred bucks just aint worth it
