Help - External Storage and writer

I have a netbook, and a laptop with no dvd writer.

So i am looking to buy a housing (connecting via USB to the pc's) in which i can swap out HDD's and a dvd writer. Anybody got suggestions of something i can use?

Something where i can swap out easily?

Vantec is a good brand imo - but I see Incredible has stopped selling them... maybe somewhere online.

What you will then need to do if you purchase this, is purchase a mobile rack. You will simply put the hard drive into the mobile rack and that into this case.

Anybody had experience with these devices? Anything i could be aware of?

With a DVD burner, will there speed issues? i.e. if my burner burns at 24 speed, will it be limited to less because of the enclosure?

If you're worried about copying, purchase the enclosure model above the one I mentioned, the one with e-sata
