Help. How to move ADSL

Hey

We are moving mid next month.

Bandwidth from MWEB.
Line from Telkom.

What would be the quickest / cheapest way to move.
I am thinking MWEB won't be a problem, but I am worried about telkom.

Help would be much appreciated.

If there are ADSL ports available in your new area, yes.

Hi There,
It is 8 years since my last move and it was pretty seamless to do it. Yes I moved exchanges so the telephone number changed but I was up and linked in a matter of days after the move.

Unpacking the boxes is going to be more of a headache than moving the connectivity.

Don't think it's easy... over a month now I requested a transfer. Got an SMS yesterday to say it will be done today and it requires someone to be home the whole day, so stupid me took the day off... guess what, Telkom just phoned me to say they can't do it !! FFS... in a house that previously had phone and ADSL ???

We had no issues with Telkom what-so-ever when we moved. All it took was one phone call, and 2 days later we were sorted.

Lucky I guess .. I can't even get a phone line
