Can someone who is experienced in GPRS networks help impart some of their knowledge? I'm trying to put up a technically viable solution of extracting information from a very large number of remote meters via a local ISP's GPRS network. This is the setup I have in mind, so please feel free to provide me with your comments. I am guessing that I would need to have a server set up running some communications software, and a router that addresses a DNS gateway assigned by the ISP through which I would be able to connect to my GPRS modems which have also been pre-assigned I.P. adresses. Please advise if I'm correct thus far and any technical issues that I might face??
