Hi

I'm having big problems connecting my Dlink DWL-1000AP+ to my linksys wrt54g. My linksys is an access point and I assume that i need to setup the Dlink to become a wireless client..????

I've setup the dlink to be a wireless client and I've added the mac address of the linksys into the dlink setup...but I still cant ping the Dlink in wireless mode.

Any help would be awsome!!!!

Thanks

Why dont you put the Linksys in client mode im sure this will be easier.

But also you cant just bridge it like that, unless you use WET mode on the wrt which is really dodge or use wds.

I've got securities disabled so no encryption... The linksys only has 2 modes (that i;m aware of) Router and gateway... Is there anyway of make the linksys a wireless client????

You'll have to change the firmware on your Linksys in order to get Client mode for the Wireless interface.
