Ok, so I know there are hundreds of these threads out there, and I have read through a good number of them, but I have been without a PC for over 7 years so I am so far out of the game I really don't know what to look for.

My requirements are pretty simple

Primary function would be a media server, so capacity for lets say at least 4 internal drives.
HDMI output to the TV (most graphics cards come with this anyway so don't see a problem)
The only game I really play is Diablo 3, so if it can handle this at max settings that would be great.

And it would be great if I could get all the components from Esquire, only reason is they are right next door.

Budget, obviously as little as possible, but I can go up to R10k. Should include a monitor, but I am willing to be flexible on that. KB and mouse, I don't need anything fancy, just functional. Also not all the HDD's are required right now, just 1 to start with.

Most places like Esquire will build the system for you for a small fee. You would do better going that route than trying to build a machine from scratch after 7 years.

To look at the parts, I would start looking at what sort of PC you want. What is more important to you, power/silence? Would you like to play games on it?

That's great, I didn't know they would customize their prebuilt machines.

Going to have a look quick and will post specs of what I am looking at, should make things easier

If you go with this build, you must ask Rebel Tech to upgrade the BIOS on the motherboard to the latest version (F8) so that the CPU will work.

You can also ask Rebel Tech to also build the Pc for you before shipping.

Reasoning:
Why the case was chosen:
-7 HDD bays
-Supports up to 5 fans

Why the PSU was chosen:
-6x SATA
-Thermal controlled fan
-Future expandability (extra graphics card)

Why the motherboard was chosen:
-On-board VGA with D-sub + DVI + HDMI
-6x SATA (4x SATA3G + 2x SATA6G)
-Support for S/PDIF Out
-2x PCI-E 3.0 (x16/x4)
-Dual BIOS 3TB+ Support
