Have a Labtec wireless one which has lasted about 14 months. Seems to be on its way out. Every 4th click or so it does not actually click :(

So I need a replacement.

Needs to be:
Wireless
Optical :p
Cheap (spent R250 on this one and that was pushing it for me)
Ideally would have a rechargeable stand thing (willing to pay bit more for this option).

Most importantly, I am gonna need it asap, so it needs to be from a BircknMortar store in CT, like IC, Cafeviva, ComputerMania...

Does not have to be fancy - do not need to game or anything. IC seem to only stock wireless mouses in excess of R500 which is mad.
Any ideas?

:)

Labtec mice are trash. My notebook Labtec gave in a while back(scroll wheel), but I don't have dosh for a new one yet. Let me know what you find.

Yeah - I only took it cos I needed a mouse at the time and it was the cheapest wireless one they had in the store :(

Sigh. You can't go cheap with wireless. If you want something that cheap you need to go wired.

Logitech wireless mouse M205 (910-001073). It's a notebook mouse, so maybe small.

Should be R175 in the stores.

ye wireless mice are overrated neways...

give more problems than they worth IMO.

What problems? Can't ever recall having a problem with a wireless mouse that I wouldn't of had with a wired mouse.

!= Logitech or MS. :D

Haha. I have also never had problems specific to the wirelessness of a mouse. It's the price that puts me off.

The Verbatim was the only wired mouse that IC seemed to have. It came in nice packaging, looks nice and is blue. Also Verbatim is a decent brand :)

I paid quite a lot for mine, can't recall - bought it on here actually, think it was around R500 - but the battery life is amazing - still running the same set of batteries since getting it months ago... also like the Nano receiver, I just lave it in the laptop :)

Yeah, now that is crazy money. I am back to wired from now on. Loving this Verbatim right now. Apart from actually being able to see the wire coming out of it, I cannot notice any difference to the feel when using it. :)

Get one of these,

I have the wired version and I really love this mouse more than any logitech or MS mouse I have ever owned and they are cheap.

That was from me and you paid R400 because I gave you R50 off my advertised price;)

New they were around R700 if I remember correctly.

And I'm loving it.... when was that? Still using the same batteries.

So thats five months on one set of batteries, and indicator says 75% remaining :)

I also use the mouse for around 10 hours a day - so thats good battery life.
