Help me fix my ADSL/Router

Hey all,

Long and short of it: atrocious speeds suddenly. My router is now syncing at 4Mb instead of 10Mb (can't even perform a speedtest as it times out).

Second hop seems to be having trouble. I'm also getting weird cutouts of connectivity in web browsing (while streaming services stay somewhat stable). Browsing in general is very very slow both locally and internationally.

Any help? I think the router may be on the way out.

Its a line issue, contact telkom. Is your line noisy at all?

Very noisy yes. We have two points of entry into the house, one phone one ADSL. They use separate filters. I'm guessing this means the issue is not the POTS but the line itself.
