With telkominternet you could easily download 20gigs for R250.

You could go with SAOL (10GB - R350) although their have been some forum postings about their support service...

20Gig for R250 - yes, but you can sit at 4GB @ the 18th and be capped right?

Let me get this right.

Either way if we had to choose telkom or not we would still be paying them for an adsl connection? Cause according to what i've read u can choose another isp for access but for the adsl line itself u still pay a fee to telkom?

Is this right? Then why go for another isp, if we have to incur additional cost?

When will Telkom's reign END????

Who else can i try besides webafrica, saol, imaginet, eastcoat and bitsbytes?

The point of PS3 is BANDWIDTH! Does not matter where you are, if you going to run on 192, you will NEVER get to the 30gig cap.

Hey man. Dont give up hope. I am on a 192k line in CT and i pulled 23 gigs off a telskom 3 gig account before being hardcapped. Am now with sahara-IS, who i would personally recommend, have done the 3 gig international cap, still going at around 2.5 gigs a day downloading local torrents, so reching the 30 gig cap is a definite possibility, even on a pathetic 192...

Is anyone with cybersmart that can comment on service/performance?

I am thinking of getting a 2nd account as this lack of international bandwidth is slowly killing me...

oh they just tld me i'll pay a higher fee if i POP emails other than @cybersmart.co.za ones. if i wna receive other emails i gotta use the webmail /airmail/etc facility.
