Help me reconnect my line

Short story, had family over they made use of the phone and the bill went to about 2k and the line disconnected.

Today I had a chance to visit the Telkom office and pay.

So I thought I'd phone 10210 and give them a receipt number to get connected, that's what I read on older threads and guy in the shop said the same thing.

Phone 10210, it acknowledges I'm disconnected. Tells me if I paid I'll be reconnected in 48 hours.

Anyway to get reconnected possibly today, I can't go another day without ADSL.
 
Try get help from the Telkom rep, although so far he hasnt responded to my PM's for assistance.

You can phone in to the Telkom customer care and go to the payment department. Have your slip ready, they are able to load it on the system as a made payment and it will speed up the reconnection process.

Go to a telkom store and get them to reconnect you?
 
2k on calls? Ek se naina, you must dallah whoever made your 'count so high!

Ya I had a similar problem when my aunties and sister-in-laws came over to visit in Dec' 2013. My Telkom bill was 1.2k for that month. They called cell numbers at peak times and had hour-long conversations daily. Real chatterboxes these days aunties.
