I need some help with the following scenario…

I paid my COJ account, using the Clicks website, using easypay

Clicks confirmed the transaction went through
EasyPay confirmed the transaction went through as well

Sadly, its not showing on my COJ account

Anyone been in this scenario maybe?

COJ is beyond useless replying.

EasyPay and Clicks are pointing fingers to each other

:(

@zerocool2009 electricity and water cut off incoming...

P.S. They have been going around cutting people off in our neighbourhood for 'accounts in arrears' when people are up to date and in some cases they simply have the wrong property/person altogether.

Lol, I gladly paid the account double now, but clearly something went wrong somewhere

Fnb said would gladly reverse it after 30 days (as in unsolved)

how long has it been? what day and time did you do the transaction?

Imagine their cutoff for their dot matrix printer is Friday at 11am, and you paid on Monday at 9am... they then only send out your paper bill 2 weeks later reflecting nil payment.

It's a waiting game

Someone at my work now said COJ had billing issues the last few weeks. Maybe its link.

Reverse it, wait for the next bill, and then pay for both months.

These okes dont cut you off if you miss one payment, heck they so disorganised, they wouldnt even know. When i bought my place a few years ago, for whatever reason i didnt get my bill for 9 months and for 9 months i didnt pay.

Then their debt collection guys called me, and i told them i have received a single statement - i would gladly pay if they did send it - things quickly got sorted and i started getting my bills.

So i wouldn't worry about missing 1 payment, just pay next month

Send the COJ accounts department the Clicks payment proof and ask to allocate against your account.
Somehow the auto allocation on accounting system got mixed up and is waiting for manual allocation.

Drove to my nearest CoJ office. Started my sentence with easypay. The gentleman quickly smiled and credited my account.

So emailing them is a waste of time! Go in …

As simple as that

watch the system automatically reverse that credit and put your next bill back into arrears... lol
