Ok im thinking off getting more ram and a new graphics card and proper cooling.

Ram:is kingmax ok and will 3gb be ok for my system(vista)?

GFX: I currently have 8800gts 320mb and im thinking of upgrading to 8800gts 512, now what i want to know is do all the 8800gts 512 have the new G92 tech and is it better then the gt version?
And is the 8800gtx still the best card?

Cooling : what water cooling system under R1000 would you recommend something that would let me overclock my Q6600 cpu?

Another thing is buying a new GFX a good idea or should i just learn how to overclock and overclock mine since i want to learn how to overclock...

i reckon hang on to that 8800gts 320 until the 9800gtx, well thats what i'd do. IMO although there is a performance differance but not worth the cost..

Don't think you going to get any water cooling for under 1k Rather get a Zalman or Scythe CPU cooler.

These few both support Quad Core
Scythe Ninja support's

Scythe Samurai

8800GTS is still a good card, no use it throwing money at the new 8800's when 9 series is just about to launch

3GB is okay, but how are you achieving that? It would be best to just get 2X2GB (R738 for both from sybaritic for example) that runs in dual channel and allows you to upgrade if you ever have to.

Any brand is okay really, Kingmax would be fine. The 2GB modules I quoted are Transcend.

The 8800GTS (G92) is a good card and has decent pricing, I'd go for that if you don't want to wait for the 9800GTX.

will the 9800gtx's price be reasonable ?
What you mean i can upgrade whenever i want to?

will these allow me to overclock well?

I have a Thermalright Ultima-120 ... I'm running my Q6600 at 3.2Ghz @ 43c on idle. +-60c on full load.

There is a better cooler, the Thermalright iFX-14 ... its massive and awesome, I would've got this one ... but my case does not allow for it ... you need an extended ATX case, or if you have a normal one, PSU must be at the top not the bottom. Its the heatsink for the back of the motherboard thats the problem.

I sell these both on my website ... although I haven't checked if I am the cheapest. I bought the Ultima-120 today.

btw the 9800 series is also based on G92, so it's nothing new. The performace probably won't be that much higher than the 8800GTS.

Nvidia andATI's real next gen cards are what you want to wait for. GT200 and RV770 respectively, whatever brand names they being up getting.
