Getting desperate with a problem i am having on a Mecer Conexant ADSL router. I need to setup a DYNDNS account to have outside access to the router and another device on the network.
The dns account details have been loaded on the router and ports have been correctly assigned to the routers port forwarding. But we still cant get in from outside the network. A look@lan report shows that the router port is open (80). we can ping the public IP and the dyndns account. We can even do a telnet ping into the accounts open ports successfully but still cannot get it through a browser. On the LAN the dyndns acount works but not from outside.
all restrcitions and rules are off that i am aware of
any other idea's guys?
