Help-Navigation software(upgrade) for Mercedes Benz

Bought a 2009 ML 320cdi with build in navigation (Command). The maps seems to be outdated and in true style of MBenz they want nearly 4 k for a cd with updated roads. Is there a way, any way to get it cheaper or maybe I can share the cost with somebody else who also looking for the upgraded software
