Ok, the 720W PSU i'm aiming at buying has 6 SATA Cables and 4 Molex - No 6/8 Pin Cables for a Graphics Card.
i'm getting a 4870x2, and I know the card comes with 6 & 8 pin to molex converters in the box, but the 8-pin converter needs 2 molex, and the 6-pin converter needs 1 molex. that leaves me with only 1 spare molex (Which will be used for the DVD Drive)

now, I can upgrade the DVD Drive to a newer, sata power enabled drive, leaving me with a spare molex again.

Now, the question is - Will a Single molex be able to power 5 fans, including case lights, if I daisy chain them, or will this be a bad idea?

ALSO, will 3 molex power cables (converted to a 6/8pin) output the same amount of power as dedicated 6/8pin cables on a more expensive PSU?

the 800W Modular has 5 molex (then I could use a dedicated molex for each fan) and 2 x 6/8pin Power cables for sli/crossfire, and 6 sata cables - but it's R1000 more:(

Thanks for your guys input, i'm not sure what to do here...

It'll be fine, the combination of 5 fans equals +-1 - 3amps, wont be a prob linking them all up.

Though I'm not sure about the converter part...

And the Odin series is pretty good.
