Hey guys.
I'm new to the forum and I need a bit of help
I am clueless when it comes to ISP's and all that jazz... :wtf: haha
Previously I had the MWEB package with the 4MBps - uncapped ADSL, etc...
Everything was great until about 3 months ago. The line speed dropped drastically! I couldn't even receive any emails and it was terrible to try and surf the internet
So we phoned MWEB and they said we should phone Telkom. When we phoned Telkom, they told us that the cables had been stolen... They repaired it and 3 months later, the internet still hasn't been like what it used to be...
We cancelled MWEB and the Telkom line and we are now trying Iburst, which is okay for our business (to receive our emails, etc...)
The only problem is that my brother and I both do online gaming on our PS3's and my bro complains that there's too much lag. Worse than when our MWEB ADSL went downhill
The Iburst package we're using now is their best one (or so they say).
It's the uncapped, 2MBps deal. (I think, lol) We pay month-to-month and it's just over R800p/m.
We need to connect 4 PC's + 2 PS3's to the internet.
So the advice I need is:
Is there anything better than Iburst? (We don't want to go back to MWEB unless we can sort out Telkom, which we can't)
What do you suggest?
