Someone has given me a EMU4K Sampling station (Keyboards)but the HDD has packed up and I need to replace it with something like this:

4.3GB SCSI Hard Drive 50 pin E-MU|Ensoniq Sampler/Synth

Where can I obtain this kind of drive? and can I use any type of HDD?

Look on eBay. Or contact the manufacturer, I've read that alot of these samplers aren't too compatible with yer standard SCSI drives, I don't think they can take a 20GB driv efor example... but I could be wrong.

I'm sure you'll find all you need on Google.

If not, give the sampler to me, It'd make a nice addition to my project 'studio' :D

Thanks yes they do have them on Ebay but I was hoping that they would have them locally as well.

This particular drive I'm wanting to replace is a:270MB total capacity, Pre-loaded with over 170MB of sounds

Nice, so I take it you're a muso, what sorta stuff do you do?
