Hi there

As from 1 september i will be sharing an office with compnay that has existing i-burts wirless broadband.
i however need to have a vpn connection to my australian office. How do i ge tmy own IP address if i share their broadband?

Can i do this while sharing ADSL with this company. Can i-busrt accommodate a vpn connection and how reliable are they?
What other requirements do i need in terms of broadband, speed, etc?

Hi

You should be able to connect with VPN via iBurst to your Australian company.

If you share their broadband, chances are that you will be behind a company firewall. Ask the administrator of that firewall to help you with setting your VPN up.

You can also do this on an ADSL connection as well.

If the iBurst connection are capped and throttled, you'll still be able to VPN out, but at radically slow speeds.

Thanks for this

If am a sharing , can i still get me own IP address.

Only reason i am going got this option is that we are only 2 staff opening satelite office to existing australian company, and cost of renting a private office is too much.
sharing sort of solves that problem as i can get exsting office infrastructure but not sure about all the broadband logistics?

Does the Australian office need you to connect using a static IP? (for exception on their firewall to allow this connection etc). Iburst business can supply you with an static IP for something like R199 extra a month.
