I have a 6 year old Honda Jazz. Few years ago I put in Bluetooth for phone calls and steaming music. It's never been very loud but now disaster struck. With the newest Android update they removed the Bluetooth volume overide in developer settings.
Now it is useless. The sound is too low to hear any person on the phone.
I cannot stream my beloves podcasts as I cannot hear a thing while driving.

Thing is it has its own built in Amp and does not play the through the radio amp.
Is there a way to get either connect it to the radio amp or buy a booster something.

Regards refitting a radio that is hidden does not sound like an option.

Any ideas?

Why not change the radio with a proper aftermarket one, like this for example. This will not only sound better than the stock radio and have a proper Bluetooth interface but will also allow you to control the volume from the deck.

There are of course cheaper one's and more expensive one's, whichever you fancy.
Looks good and priced right. Where do I put it though. The radio on the dash is built in?

Yeah aftermarket has been my life and would have suggested that as well.

Me too, have as near as makes no difference the same one as there. Its the first deck I got that gave me proper control over each output kinda like you would with a analogue crossover or a DSP, but you can edit it on the app on your phone properly. (Don't judge my setting, just got it and was messing around with it)

Ok that is fancy, had something like this from Sansui https://www.hificorp.co.za/pioneer-avh-z7050bt-in-dash-receiver-with-carplay

Broke after 3 years

If that's the case I'd say he should get a bluetooth receiver that works through the built in systems AUX input so the receivers output can be amplified by the deck, like this one. I'm assuming he has currently got one of those el cheepo plug into the lighter FM one's

Bloody hell. R250? I have a few of those lying around that I bought off BoB for about R10 each. PM me if you are interested.
