help needed with kaspersky anti virus 2009

so i just bought it on their website, and when i want to install it, it says, it cant becaues there is avg 8 in the way, but i uninstalled it and it still doesnt want to work, does anyone know how to by pass it ?

Did you restart after uninstalling AVG?

I think they have some kind of "advanced" method for removing AVG somewhere on their website/forums, I gather it may leave behind some stuff just uninstalling it normally.

I prefer Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 because the program can be installed on infected computers, self-protection from being disabled or stopped, restores correct system settings after removing malicious software or it have tools for creating a rescue disk.
