Hi.

We moved to a new house and the area does not support ADSL. I will get a LTE modem tomorrow.

In the mean time, I need to get my PC connected to the net to send out some quotes and emails.

This is what I have:
1. Huawei E5372 mobile modem
2. TP-Link TD-W8980 DSL Router
3. Netgear Extender

Is it possible to set/connect the portable modem to connect with the TP Link router so that the TP Link received the internet feed from the Huawei?

I will appreciate your help, please.

Does your PC have Wi-Fi capabilities?

The only way to get the TP-LInk to use 3G fail-over mode is via USB ports which your mobile modem doesn't have. :(

I remember now that my Netgear range extender does have a cable socket. So it will be possible to connect my PC to the extender. Will I be able to have my range extender receive wifi from my Huawei which it then can send to my PC?

You'll never know unless you try. Hope it works. :)

Try to connect the E5372 to your computer directly via USB, and install the needed drivers (My Huawei Pocket wifi Modem/router - Which I misplaced again, asks me if I want to install the drivers), and use the E5372 for internet access on your computer.

Or just do what ])ragon_\/oid said. :D
