Hi everyone

My son wants to get a gaming pc and he's been getting all sorts of "technical" advice from his school buddies (17 year olds).

Budget would be at most about R25k, all incl. No software required.

Please help, he's driving me nuts.

Thanks!

Would that be for a complete pc which includes monitor, keyboard, mouse or just the 'box' as people say?
Do you have any existing components that can be used in this build?
Which games would he be playing?

Yes, complete pc including keyboard, mouse & monitor
It's a brand new build, no equipment yet

The games would mostly be FPS, I'm guessing

Mouse options, how big are his hands?

Normal size hands.
Had a look at the monitor, but not sure about the brand though.. looks iffy

Then go for the MM530 then.
Read the thread & comments from those that got one, uses a 144Hz samsung panel. It's still better & cheaper than a budget monitor I would have selected normally.
