Help needed

My quest for cheap reliable internet:
3 years ago they stole my phone cables and since then Telkom is refusing to replace them. I need help finding a reliable and cheap internet solution. I need to be able to play online games without too much lag. Here's a list of all the no goes and the pending solutions.

No:
Vodacom/mtn 3g - Too expensive
Telkom Wimax - Says I owe them money (which I'm not going to pay)
Neotel - Signal stops a block away from my house
iBurst - No signal

Maybe:
Screamer - I might have signal but it doesn't quite fit my reliable criteria

This actually looks promising. Is it just my browser or doesn't the website with the coverage map work? And is there any other ideas?

Find someone nearby that has a telkom line and setup a wireless link between your house and the house with the line, you can then get adsl installed on their line and use it via wireless...
