Help: Netgear router

My telkom modem blew up on me (literally)... So i got the Netgear Super-G Wireless Modem Router.... I added the account name and password..... Set everything to the correct settings: PPPoE, LLc etc. And i still can't connect to the internet.... Cant browse, nothing.... What do you think the problem is?

Oh and everything seems to be connected.... I get my DNS, IP address..... My downstream of 2048 and upstream of 384

Try setting a static IP with the router IP as the gateway and dns and make sure that it does not have any mac filtering enabled.

Is it a brand new router?

If it's a new modem, then it could be a problem with your account? Have you checked with your ISP?
