Help - new Explora installation

I bought a new explora and smart LNB but I cannot get the installation process to go past step 3. The 3 tuner bands indicate zero signal status. What am I doing wrong? The signal was no problem with the old PVR that I threw out.

Have to use that, it's in the box.
The H/l and V/L are my twin LNB satellite input.
The A output goes straight into the explorer.

The light will turn on if it works.

then it gets complicated as hell

OK I found this thread, and turned the LNB to the position of the previous one. It worked! Saved myself a R2000 installation callout yay

Those don't come with anymore, you need to buy a smart lnb as they phased out the smart switch. I tried various installers and couldn't get a switch only the lnb.
