help on adsl telkom 4mb line

hi there new on the forum have found a lot of interesting threads which made me join up I have a 4mb line from Telkom uncapped when I go to check the Telkom coverage on my road it says I can get vdsl up to 4mb is this true because I have the old dlink dsl-2750u router which cant get vdsl but adsl2+ also can your'l check if my snr and stuff is in good order or whether I need to check it up on speed test it goes up to 3.5 mb sometimes more but drops down and upload is 0,60mb also sometimes goes to 0.71mb thanks snr margin(0.1db) D 88 up 217 attenuation 0.1db D 460 up 246 output power 0.1dbm D 0 up 126 attainable rate kpbs D 9704 up 984 rate kbps D 4092 up 508 D(interleaver depth) D 448 up 1 delay msec D 7.78 up 1.13 hec errors up 30 this is usually 1 total es D 857 mode adsl 2 plus type atm status up thanks

That attenuation looks seriously high.
Have you phoned 10210 and requested a port reset?

They reset the port when I upgraded from 2mb to 4mb
