help on harddrive

Hi

My 2nd harddrive seems to auto shut down and start up. Is this good for a harddrive? Where do i set this setting in win7, cause its starnge it does this, cause i never setted this.

I know in winxp u can set this, but where in win7? I cant find where.

If it's an internal: Use the windows port of hdparm.
If it's external: Use hddcoffee

control panel power options, i use high performance then click change plan

click change advanced settings, hard drive, i select never turn off hard drive
