I need some help with somewhere to turn to..........
I upgraded my handset via 809 call center and got delivered a Samsung S5. The handset was not working after opening and the call centre said I should take into an MTN direct store. Get to MTN direct store in Morningside and they say they cannot assist me as I am an online customer. Eventually they mentioned they will take in the broken phone and online will deliver my new phone.
After handing in my phone I call online and now they cannot help and say's I must go to store to get new phone, store say's call online, call online again, transferred to repairs, then corporate sales, then collections. this has been going on for 2 week, done the twitter, hellopeter, facebook complaints but still nothing.
I am being charged for the new phone, spent my December holiday's trying to find some-one who has a clue in MTN to no avail.
Where do I go now? Everyone I speak to keeps fobbing me off saying they cant assist - different division's, different systems.
I need to somehow get hold of a manager or someone who can take accountability.............HELP!
