Help PC probs

Hi need help my pc just randomly freezes all sounds just goes and dead and pc just freeze.It doesn't pop up any errors or anything.Any advice what i could be?

Need a bit more info there dude, does it boot up, what OS freezes, what are you normally doing when it freezes? Some specs may help also particularly vga card and psu size.

maybe strip PC down to bare essentials, use on board VGA unplug all devices except mouse keyboard and VGA, run on 800x 600 or 1024 x 768, see if problem persists. As Drake2007 mentions, other specs will be useful? OS version? AV or ASW versions? Even disable them if you can...

windows xp sp3
Coolermaste cm 690 chassis
Asus crosshair 2 formula
2 * 9800gtx sli
5600+ x2 amd cpu
1 tb wd hard drive
800 watt gigabyte odin gt
4 gig corsair 1066 dominator ram

I checked cooling everything is fine nothing is overheating.And its not like freezing at a certain point in time it just randomly will freeze in windows usually while am busy in fire fox browsing the net.
I haven' t had any freezing in a game yet. I looked at event viewer there is no errors displayed there.
After freezing I reset and it boots up normal not showing any errors or anything then as well.I just have no idea what it could be.

Perhaps a virus? Have you tried some malware and virus scanners?

Only thing I can pick out there is RAM and XP.
Try remove 1GB so you have 3GB or turn your pagefile off.

That's the 1st thing I've tried. But i will look into the ram thing.

Memory is a start

Do a memory test first...

burn the ISO to CD and boot from it, let the test run for at lest a few hours. even better if you can let it run overnight.
