help please BIS won't connect

i've never had problems with my BB before but since sunday my 9300 won't connect to MTN BIS. i've switched the phone off, taken the SIM out waited 10 minutes and started up again but it still won't connect. (don't laugh - i put a data sim into my GT2 on saturday. can that have anything to do with it ...... do not laugh please, what does a woman know about these things?)

I don't think its the phone anyway have u made sure bis is selected in the network options?..My bis is Connected but is so Slow I can hardly use my phone I'm with 8ta?
