I have a DSTV Explora connected to my TV. In the 2nd bedroom a secondary decoder and in the 3 Rd bedroom a tv connected and I can watch what is showing on the Explora. Is it possible to set all up so that I can watch what is on the Explora in the 2nd bedroom?

WTF? R200 for 30 meters of UTP cable? Goto your local pc shop and I bet they do it for less that 100 bucks.

I think 50m is the "rule of thumb". with some converters you can go further. 60m HDMI EXTENDER (over Cat6) WITH HDMI OUT and Built in IR Blaster.
But it's going to set you back, at least, R500. Better to just install a regular HD decoder on ExtraView unless you want the PVR function.
