HELP ! PLEASE THIS IS URGENT! iPhone related

My phone is "freezing"... I need to sort it out asap... Is there a customer care line that I could phone?

PLease advise!


Its stuck on the apple logo when you start up the phone...
it wont connect to the PC or switch off... Iv tried holding both the on/off & home buttons together but no luck.

If you want customer support you could call vodacare at the Bridge - or pop in if you're nearby. Otherwise I'm sure one of the more savvy iphone users can offer assistance.

Put your iPhone in Deep Restore mode and reinstall firmware.
DFU Mode - Connect iPod to computer, open Jailbreak app(like ziphone), Restart in DFU Mode
DFU (device firmware upgrade) mode is a special mode that bypasses the operating system and lets you upgrade the device. When in DFU mode, the phone will have no display on the screen. Many restore problems can be solved by using DFU mode and you should always be able to go into DFU mode unless you have hardware failure.

Yip, the latest little ap that hurts the iphone, is the mobile substrate from RYP (Rock your iphone), if that thing that not install correctly it drops the phone like a brick, and the only way to fix it is to go DFU and to re-apply your jailbreak

Hold the home and Power button until your iPhone switches off, it will send a soft reset single.(will take about 10 seconds)

After that just do a restore, should be good as new.

Once it is in DFU mode connect it and iTunes will pop up.

Now RESTORE it... Make sure you ARE connected to the internet while doing all of this.

Don't worry, same thing happened to me last week I erased all content and settings my iphone wouldn't boot, instead it would stuck on the apple logo.

Here is what you need to do, make sure your iphone is off, press on/off button and home button for about 5 sec. then let go of the on/off button. You’ll enter recovery mode from there all you need to do is to connect your iphone to itunes, your itunes will detect a iphone in recovery mode and you can do a restore.
