Hi

I'm wanting to sort my laptop to have mobile internet. I use around 4-6GB per month and am looking for the best value/speed/good connectivity for Durban and surrounding 200km area. I dont mind getting into a contract or paying for 20-25GB once off to get a better price as long as I'm not buying rubbish. I've had a look into a few but which is best out of the options we have.

Thanks for any help
Regards
Jason

Jason your usage senario is very vague..but heres my suggestions.

1.8ta 20gig promo(comes with 10gb day time data and 10gb night time data for a mere R299-00!the only problem is coverage so if you intend using it in and around central city areas then it should be fine but not an option if you frequent rural and outlying areas where there is almost zero coverage and you probably will be stuck in the dark so to speak).

The second option is either go with cell c's mygig 20(5gb peak and 15gb off peak for downloads) which is around R250 if i'm not mistaken or afrihosts 5gb promo(valid until february only-but its not a contract) for R145-00.Both of these should have decent coverage in the cities and surrounding rural areas although you may have to use edge in rural areas but you will still be connected.

Edit:I just checked Cell C's site now its called the giga 20 deal and its R189-00 per month for 5gb of peak data and 15gb off peak data,so for R44 more than the afrihost deal you get the 15gb of data to use at night for whatever you may need it.
