Help Please!!

The Bf's mother was cooking chicken a few days ago, forgot it on the stove and left.

When she got home there were black smoke coming from the house.

The problem: That smell!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you get rid of that smell. All the curtains has been washed and all the surfaces and she is planning on repainting but the old lady does not have huge amounts of money.

Is there something smokey i can burn in the place to kill the smell??

Incense? Fresh lemon juice usually helps for smells as well.

It happened to a friend of mine I think they placed charcoal in the house. It helps take the smell away.

Lots and lots of fresh air... Open all the windows as wide as possible and place some fans strategically in the room. Blast those fans for a good day or two

We had a room catch fire a couple of years ago and this helped a great deal

Try a pineapple. I heard (don't ask) that if you've had a dead body in your car, a pineapple helps get rid of the smell. So if it works for that, it might work for smoke too.
Otherwise painting will probably do the trick

Needs to be activated charcoal. The kind that is used in aqarium filters. But you ar going to need a lot of it.

Mila get one of those haze thingies, they are timed and release a smell every 30 seconds or something.

I do not know if it will work!! It smells like.... I have no idea but it makes you want to gag I wonder of those anit tabacco spray things work? Or there were this add for oust? I have not tried these.

Put oust on the carpet's, burn insane amounts of incense. Just go nuts.

Dead chicken smell cannot be lekka

You can also try ammonia(neat) in saucers or soup plates.Ammonia absorbs smells.Might take a bit of time though.

I know bicarbonate of soda works well to get rid of odours in the fridge.
Maybe get a bag full of it from somewhere

Mila whatever you are going to use, make sure you have the consent of the owner otherwise it's called piracy and we don't want that

Do go buy your own products and don't use any that a friend/family tries to share with you . Some on this forum consider it as piracy which in turn is theft
