If I had to buy this home theatre system.

Would I be able to plug dstv into it so that dstv sound comes out the surround speakers?

As long as it have optical input for audio, or HDMI, you should be fine.

It doesn't appear to have spdif connection (orange connector on dstv decoder) or have hdmi input (future direction) to accept surround sound, most likely can only accept a stereo (red/white connector)
You want something that can accept spdif connection from decoder.

What dstv decoder?
Other equipment like home pc , xbox 360 etc?

SPDIF can be either be the orange RCA or optical.
