i bought a tenda w150d router a while ago and only recently started using it, the problem is the wireless
i have set it up and enabled the encryption key which works on my phones BUT when i leave the house and come back the phones (or laptop) dont reconnect to the wireless router again, when i try to select the router manually it gives me an error connecting to router message, happened quite a few times now.

only way i know how to fix it is manually going into the router and changing the wep password to something else and reconnecting.

not sure whats going on, is it a fault on the router ? my previous model didnt do this and just reconnected when i was back home.

thanks for the help

Stop using WEP and use WPA2 Personal. You'll have to manually configure it for that.
I'd also suggest that you just change the name of the SSID, so that the phones won't automatically try to connect to the same AP with different encryption settings...

thanks will try that when i'm back home, thing is the older model was a breeze to set up but this new one is tricky.
also with the old one i used china as the default country and all the settings worked perfectly, this new one doesnt list SA or china so i'm using australia (8\35) which seems to be the same default settings as SA\china. hopefully it works now :)
