I have a laptop that is currently running Vista Home Premium as an OS and I want to install Window 7 Ultimate on it. The laptop has 1x 160 Gig drive which is partitioned as follows:

1. 10GB EISA Configuration

2. C Drive 60GB NTFS (system,boot,page file,active,crash dump,Primary
partition)

3. D Drive 60GB NTFS (Primary Partition)

4. G Drive 20GB NTFS (Logical Drive)

5. 9.77GB Unallocated.

What I would like to know is, how should I go about "cleaning up" this h/drive? I have backed up all the data I require to an external source so I would like to wipe the entire drive clean if I can.

Does the EISA configuration contain data relating to my existing installaion and can I safely delete it?

I would appreciate your help, comments and assistance...thanks :p

Just format the drive and re-install windows 7, if you have backed up all your data then you will be fine, you wont need any of the info on that EISA Config drive as you will be moving completely away from Windows Ultimate,
