Help Help pls. I current have 6 pc on a wired network, I bought a i burst boadband internet int came with a usb modem I need to set it up so all the pc can use the internet thks

Internet Connection Sharing

Simply put. Install the modem one your main pc(one that will be on most of the time or which anyone can access and power on).

Go to your network connection on the PC with the modem, right click the connection that you dial, go into properties>sharing> click the check box to share and select the network adapter that is used to connect to the network.

Now go to the other five PC's. Go to their network connections(the ones used to connect to the network) right click>properties>double click "internet protocol version 4" and set the IP's to automatic.

Now connect to the internet on your host PC and the other five should have internet connectivity. If not reboot the 5 client PCs.
