When creating a windows network always remember the first rule. Use the same workgroup on all pc's on the network.
To check what the workgroup name is right click on my computer, select properties, click on computer name. The button that says change, allows you to change the workgroup name (I think a restart is required for settings to take affect.) A usual name like WORKGROUP is sufficient enough, but you can customize it and call it clarknetwork, or something else. Remember, the workgroup has to be the same on both pc's.
After you have checked that, make sure your wireless connection is working (unfortunately this is out of my ball game). I haven't used or set up a wireless network before. To use the resources on both pc's, you have to create what is called a shared folder. While viewing windows explorer (right click on start, and choose explore) you have to set the folders to be shared on the network. You can share your whole harddrive, but you won't be able to access the documents and so forth. Go through the documents and settings folder and choose the username you would like to share. Right click on the specific usernames My documents folder and select properties. Click sharing above and read what it says how to enable sharing, note you cannot share the whole username "clark", you have to share the individual folders. If it says enable sharing, select it and when it asks enable sharing or use wizard, choose the option to "just enable sharing". Share the desktop and other folders you might want.
Do this on both pc's. When viewing the network connections folder or even My Computer, click My Network Places to view and access the shared folders.
Hope this helps you, there are alot of ways to share drives and files and create networks, this method is however one of the easiest I have found.
