70k for a 5.5kw and an axpert is really overpriced

Yep, I wasn't commenting on the price, just giving him an idea, since he said he prefers a portable system, it's all up to him. I get that he is not able to do a simple energy audit so I won't be telling him to assemble a system, if you cannot do things yourself you unfortunately have to pay to get them done for you, how much you pay is entirely up to you.

ie if you have a conlog meter

Pressing #70# gives instant power usage

Code may be model specific
ie if it doesn't you would have to download it's manual to see what code it uses

Do the code now you have an indicator of minimum kw rating of inverter
