Help strange issue - Telkom

I got home yesterday and my internet was down.
Thought maybe I had not paid Telkom, paid and left it at that.

Called today and spoke to accounts and they said they owe me money now, everything was fine on the accounts side.

Sat on the phone with Telkom call centre for roughly 1 hour 45 min in total.
Absolutely bloody fraking useless

Tried guest@telkom
Tried openweb account

Called openweb

No luck

My line is syncing but cannot get the internet light on and cant get an IP address.

Went and bought a new modem and spent a lovely 2k and that was not even the bloody problem.

Can anyone offer some advice?

As I say I am syncing and Telkom cant see an issue but I cannot get an IP and cant get connected from anyone

Set VCI VPI to 8/35 and have encapsulation at LLC/Snap-Bridging?

Wow, mine just started working today after 21 days. Was such a mission. Had to get hold of people so high up in Telkom. Good luck, hope you don't have the same experience.

After weeks Telkom technician got them to monitor why my Aztech router from Telkom kept disconnecting. Now it seems OK for a couple of days.
 
I had the same issue, they change the card and all well again. And I'm on ADSL2+ profile now .. yay
