Can somebody please help me with configuring my Mega 100WR router?
I am connected to a LAN (via a HUB and cables, no wireless connections) which has 10 computers connected to it. My router is connected via Ethernet cable to my PC and my network cable runs from my router to the HUB. The wireless connections are disabled and secure, not possible to access my router via wireless connections.
I (have a internet account which I share with 2 other people) and I would like to give internet access via my router to 3 computers only (my computer and two others on the network), the rest must not be able to access my internet, although, The rest may be able to access my hard drive and shared folders.
How can I block all the computers from accessing my internet, except the 3 specific computers?
Although I want to block all the computers from accessing the internet I would still like to give them access to my hard drive/files on my computer.
My internet connection currently needs me to double-click a desktop icon to connect with a username and password. But the reason I need to block the other 7 computers is that somehow someone is gaining access to my router (by accident or on purpose) and using my bandwidth. It seems that in some way it is possible to access my internet account via the LAN and router without a username and password.
I'm fairly computer literate, but do not know much about Routers and wireless routers/connections.
