HELP: Video Camera for Sports!

Hi Guys,

I am urgently looking for an HD video camera that has a wide angle lense.

It needs to be able to fit a whole soccer field in from an elevated point without losing too much quality and without me having to move the camera to track the ball.

Full disclosure, I used to be with a company that sold action cameras.

The cameras I'd look at are the GoPro Hero 5 or 6 or a Drift 4K. Brilliant cameras and a really wide variety of mounts... Also, top tip, get an extra battery or two.

Btw the new GoPro Hero (2018) at R3795.00 is actually a GoPro Hero 5 black R5799.00 at a much reduced cost if you willing to fiddle with firmware.

I get what you want to do but I don't think you're going to be pleased with the results.
