I'm a bit of a wifi and network newbie as my ADSL modem/router was installed just over a month ago. (PACE VNX VDSL/ADSL wifi).
I plugged a USB stick into the router and can acess content on the USB via a special home site for the router. Apparently this created some UPnP drive called "IBox" that I can access for the content.
So far so good. But I use an android tablet and phone most of the time and would prefer a nice app to take care of this. Also something that supports playlists. Thus far I could only find one app (called "wifi media") that could pick up the Ibox. But its a long process to get to the files and then it only plays them one at a time with no playlist of queeing support.
The idea is to create a big drive with as much media (MP3 collection and kid movies) on as possible with ease of access to this via android devices.
Any recommendations for similar apps or help to create a good home drive would be appreciated.
